“未及星霜催花老，风袭枝头先落红。”当时写的时候，写到这，脑子里就自然而然地蹦出了这两句，便提笔写下来（其实是拿起键盘敲下来，但这样说感觉好怪啊 www），后来也没想多少。直到今天，又偶然读到了许多年前学过的“夜来风雨声，花落知多少”，便突然感到一阵来自好久以前的触动，我的句子，大概就来源于此？以前理解不了的孟浩然的隐隐的惋惜之意（王文濡《历代诗评注读本》：“描写春晓，而含有一种惋惜之意。惜落花乎？惜韶光耳。”），现在也突然就明白了。能和数千年前的古人产生心意的联系，真是件奇妙的事。也很庆幸我是中国人，母语是中文这么优美的语言。

The noon sun blazes, the garden is deep,
Where secrets of spring are for shadows to keep.
But one restless branch, in a crimson-hued dare,
Reaches over the wall for the wide, open air.

She sought the world’s gaze, a wandering soul,
Beyond the grey stones and the master's control.
With petals like silk and a heart full of fire,
She climbed for the heights of her lonely desire.

But time is a thief that works far too fast,
And the glory of morning was never to last.
Long before winter could silver her head,
Or white frosts of age turned her spirit to lead—

A sudden, sharp gust caught the branch in its play,
And swept all her velvet-red riches away.
While those in the garden stayed safe in the gloom,
The wind claimed the prize of the wandering bloom.
